National Grand Theater – A Unique Design

National Grand Theater of China is real architectural marvel. The economic stabilic that China portrayed during the recent period of crisis is a testimonial of where the country is headed to in terms of leadership. The recently concluded Beijing olympics showed the advance of the nation from a cycle era to that of BMW. And the pace of China’s growth is closely watched and researched by developed countries.

The theatre that can seat upto 5452 people is a ellipsoid dome made of titanium and glass. It covers a record area of 1200 sq.mts. Paul andreau, French national is the architect of this masterpiece. The theatre is commonly known as The Egg, owing to the resemblance in shape.
